When and where is DevFest Medan 2026?
Saturday, 28 November 2026, 08:00 – 15:00 WIB. It takes place in Medan, and the venue is to be announced. Watch this page and our social channels for the final announcement.
How do I get a ticket?
Ticket registration has not opened yet. Register your interest and we will notify you as soon as tickets are available.
Who is DevFest for?
Anyone who builds or wants to build with technology: software engineers, students, designers, data engineers, founders, freelancers, academics, and UMKM owners aged 17 to 55.
What is the difference between DevFest and Road to DevFest?
DevFest Medan 2026 is the one-day main event on 28 November. Road to DevFest is the August to November series of competitions and workshops that leads up to it, ending with the awarding on the DevFest stage.
Can I speak at DevFest?
Yes. Our Call for Speakers is open for talks, workshops, and expert-corner sessions. Speaking is voluntary: there is no speaker fee or honorarium because DevFest is community-run and every rupiah goes back to the participant experience.
Do speakers or volunteers get paid?
No. Speakers and volunteers receive no fee or honorarium. DevFest is community-run: all funds go back to participants through the venue, food, prizes, and merchandise. Speakers and volunteers get a badge or crew kit, lunch, and a certificate, with out-of-town speaker travel decided case by case.
How can my company sponsor?

Will there be food?
Yes. Snacks, lunch, and a coffee break are planned for all participants, speakers, and volunteers.
Is participant data shared with sponsors?
Only with your consent. Talent and CV database access is always based on the consent you give at registration.
